Prime Berth has been chosen by TripAdvisor as among the top ten museums in all of Canada.   Something to be proud of, I guess, when one compares the work and efforts of a single couple to the great government centers across the country.

Just to remind everyone that the educational component of my commercial fishing license allows me to demonstrate to tourists the traditional hook and line fishery, in a catch and release environment, every day of the year. There's lots of fish to catch and release, so book your tour!!! Lobster season is upon us now, and if requested you could haul a few lobster pots at the same time viewing icebergs. There are a few icebergs in the Twillingate area now that are close to shore.

I like to have at least 4 people but will usually go with just a couple if time permits. My cell is 709- 884-7493.

Many thanks to those  B & B operators who have mentioned our Heritage Center and Capt Dave’s Boat Tours to their guests.

Please rest assured we have given them a great variety of experiences on every trip- from great photography to whale watching, to icebergs, to eagles, osprey, cod fishing, lobster pot hauling, etc.

In addition to a boat that travels 30 miles an hour, when needed, we cover a lot of ground in two hours. On several trips, we completely circled both Twillingate Islands!

Even though there are no icebergs now, there are still lots to do and see. On today's tour, my guests were able to jig some squid and view some orcas.
